Hi,
It's probably just the way I'm reading the rules, but will the elimination round be one robot after the other like last season or five robots per race at the same time?
I have an idea for a strategy, but it only works if the robots run one after the other for the elimination.

You are completely correct, the eliminations are individual time trials over 10 laps (or 6 minutes) run the same way we did last series. The fastest 7 of these will be summed to make your total time.
Beware though, if you look carefully you will see there is a single submission deadline for the finals week. This means we will use the same code from the elimination for the final race if you are in the five fastest entries.
This results in a bit of a strategic choice between a faster elimination time or a potentially better racing lap for the final.
Thanks for the reminder about the single submission. I have an idea in my head to compensate for that but I need to get it written and into the simulation to confirm. In theory it should work. But first I need to stay in the top 10!!
