Dates in the Forum...

This is a real 'Anything else' topic...

I've selected my locale as London/Europe or however the system displays it, but the dates are all being displayed in numerical month/day/year format... which is very confusing for a bear of very few brains.

Is it possible to get day/month/year — or even just get the month spelt out?

In my head the USians all get in a tizzy about the ninth of November... and my dyslexia can't understand why.

Bear hugs all round.

Date formatting

Unfortunately it seems to be a site wide setting, not a user setting.
I must agree, I get very confused reading US style dates as well...

I have changed it to use a 3-letter month name, that way everyone should be happy ^_^

Ah, the joys of 'configurable' web software that assumes everyone lives in North America!
