Good morning,
I was wondering if you were recording every camera on its own over the full race time?!?
Sadly I can't see myself most of the time, and especially the seconds before my robot stopped are crucial to understand the reason why it did what it did.
Soo if you recorded every camera on its own...could I get some additional video material?
Kind regards,
xStatic
Unfortunately we do not currently record all of the cameras, only the final stream footage :(
There is quite a long story behind this one, but in short I have written an experimental version of the camera switching script which does record all of the cameras as a single large video. The problem is it has an irritating bug where it seems to crash out at random, killing all of the camera footage in the process.
I have spent a fair amount of time tracking the bug down, but without much luck so far. The crash is fairly random as to when it occurs, the average time running is around 3 hours though.
We really want to record the cameras ourselves so that we can see what may have happened off-stream, especially as I cannot see the whole track from my seat upstairs. What we do not want to do is introduce a time bomb which could take out the entire stream mid-race...
